Responsible use

Terms of use

Effective date: to be published before these terms take effect.

CaringBack is preparing for an App Store launch and is not publicly available to use or purchase yet. These terms will take effect on the date published above.

1. Service and eligibility

CaringBack is a family coordination tool. A family member can enter a routine based on instructions they received; the person receiving care accepts pairing, gets local alarms on their own device, and reports actions. Family members follow the states that reach the service. You must be allowed to use the app and enter another person’s information.

The app does not verify prescriptions, recommend or change doses, or replace professional guidance, in-person supervision, or a family emergency plan.

2. Reminder and report limits

Local alarms depend on compatibility, permissions, power, system settings, and the installed schedule. Check the scheduled horizon in the app. A powered-off, uncharged, or unpermitted device may not sound. Syncing and family notices may be delayed or fail and are not guaranteed to be read.

“Taken” is a manual report and does not prove ingestion. “Not now” snoozes without advising whether or when to take a dose later. “Need help” creates a family request when it syncs; it does not call emergency services or guarantee a human response in time. See Support.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Subscription and payments

The planned launch subscription is one monthly subscription per family, with no free trial. The app does not currently accept public purchases. If and when the subscription is made available, it will be purchased through Apple’s App Store; the store will show the price, currency, period, and renewal terms before confirmation. This website does not sell subscriptions or take payments.

A confirmed subscription may renew automatically under the period shown by Apple unless cancelled before renewal. Manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings. Removing the app or deleting an account does not cancel the subscription. To restore an eligible purchase, use the in-app restore option with the same Apple account. The store processes charges and refund requests under its own rules; the app grants access only after server verification.

5. Store terms

Use of an app downloaded from Apple App Store may also be subject to Apple’s Standard EULA.

6. Content, availability, and changes

You are responsible for what you enter and must have the right to share names and instructions. The app and providers may be unavailable; data may sync late. Continuous availability is not promised. Material changes will be shown before taking effect.

7. Deletion and contact

Deleting an account, when available in the app, does not replace cancelling an App Store subscription. For support or help with a privacy request, contact support@caringback.com. These terms do not promise a fixed response time.

Operator: 4LLs. These terms take effect on 2026-10-05.
